The Ocean Realty Story

My Grandfather moved the family to the Wynnum district in the 1950s, where they lived at Peterson Street, Wynnum North. Later they moved to Bishop Island at the mouth of the Brisbane River where they were the caretakers of the local campground and convenience store. Bishop Island no longer exists as it has been swallowed up for the Port of Brisbane precinct.

My mother attended Guardian Angels’ primary school – the same school I would later attend and now my two sons Percy and Tom have also attended.
