FROM BAYSIDE LANGUAGE SCHOOL
Happy Chinese New Year!
My name is Amay, and I am a former student of Moreton Bay College. I graduated in 2020 and I’m passionate about making a positive contribution to the spiritually and culturally rich community I was raised in. I am proud to run Bayside Language School, where we foster a community of multicultural minds by creating new opportunities through language.
For the first time this February, Bayside Language School will host a Fun-Fu Festival to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, with all proceeds raised from raffles going to Darling Point Special School and the Bayside
Community Fund.
Bayside Language School is excited to bring new cultural events to the bayside community, and the Fun-Fu Festival is your chance to explore a fascinating world of Chinese music, games, crafts, and indulge in traditional foods from local businesses. Put simply, the Fun-Fu Festival is where East meets West!
If you are excited to watch lion dancing, Kung Fu performances and try activities like dumpling making, I encourage you to come to the festival. Entry is free. Scan the QR code (on the opposite page) to register for your lucky door prize!
