About the event
The Armistice Centenary War Memorial is sacred to the memory of the more than 500 Riflemen of the Queensland Rifle Association who gave their lives for our freedom in the Great War of 1914-1918. The ACWM was then established at Belmont to commemorate the members who served, many of whom made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
On ANZAC Day – the most significant day of commemoration, reflection and gratitude – the gates open at the ACWM to the community. Family, friends, servicemen and women are invited to attend the ANZAC memorial service.
Front Gates close at 9:50am.
March commences 10:15am.
Service begins 10:30am.
