Join the Chess and Traditional Games Club every Friday between 2pm – 5.30 pm at Wynnum Library, 145 Florence Street, Wynnum QLD, 4178.
Bring along your favourite board game or join others to play games available on the day.
Chess and Traditional Games Club was established March 2018. Its aim is to bring together, individuals who live isolated, are recently retired, not as physically mobile and anyone who shares a passion for traditional games. We meet at Wynnum Library(145 Florence St), from 2.00pm – 5.30pm every Friday. Tuesdays is the Beginner’s training for Mahjong at 11.30am. It’s now a FREE community event sponsored by Joan Pease MP. Locals and visitors can look forward to friendly games of Chess, Eastern Mahjong, Scrabble and Rummiken to name a few. If there are games you wish to play, bring them along. Join us for laughter and conversation over games. We socialise once a month to support Wynnum/Manly food venues. Our club celebrates Christmas and its Birthdays.
