About the event
Calling all plant lovers! As part of Brisbane City Council’s Green Heart Event Program, the Green Heart Pop-Up is coming to Toowong Village for the first time in February with free native plant giveaways, kids’ activity bags and sustainability displays so you can learn how to live a more eco-friendly life and lower your household expenses at the same time.
Each day from 9am-5pm on the 24th and 25th of February there’ll be 1,000 plants given away thanks to Council’s free native plants program so be quick!
While you’re there, you can also chat with experts and learn simple tips and tricks to build flood resilience at home, to help you prepare for, live through and recovery quickly from flood events.
And if you’ve ever wondered what your household carbon footprint is you can take the Brisbane Carbon Challenge at the pop-up to learn about your household’s emissions and receive tips on how to reduce your emissions and save on bills.
Bus, bike or walk to Toowong Village and visit Council’s Pop-Up on ground floor near Flight Centre from 9am-5pm on the 24th and 25th of February!
