About the event
The Manly-Lota RSL encourages the community to come together on 25 April 2026 for a morning of remembrance honouring the courage, sacrifice and enduring legacy of the ANZACs and all who have served since.
The day begins with the Dawn Service at 4:15am (assemble at 4:00am) at Richard Russell Park, Manly.
The ANZAC Day March starts at 8:00am, stepping off from outside Manly State School. The march will make its way to Richard Russell Park, where the Mid-morning Service will commence shortly after, concluding at approximately 9:30am.
Hosted by the Manly-Lota RSL Sub Branch, the ceremony will uphold the traditions that define ANZAC Day, including the laying of wreaths, the sounding of the Last Post and the observance of a minute’s silence. Community members are invited to participate in the service, observe the ceremony or lay a wreath or poppy in tribute. Those wishing to lay a wreath are encouraged to contact the Manly-Lota RSL office ahead of time.
Following the service, veterans, families and the wider community are welcome to gather at the ManlyLota RSL Sub-Branch Memorial Hall at 184 Melville Terrace for morning tea, continuing the spirit of reflection and connection. This annual ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity for the community to stand together, honour the past and ensure the legacy of the ANZACs endures.
