Our annual Mini Fun Fair and Market offers a much cheaper alternative for the kids to the ultra expensive Brisbane Ekka.
The first 100 children under the age of 12 will receive a free goodie bag. Can’t get here in time for the free bags? No worries. There’s lots more for the children, with an animal petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, fairy floss, popcorn and sno cones. Admission to the market and fun fair are free, but the other activities are privately run and there will be a charge.
For the mums and dads (and grandparents) we will still have our over 70 market stalls selling just about everything hand made you can think of. Perfect time to purchase early Christmas gifts.
Also the historic Shire Clerk’s Cottage will be open so you can wander through and get a glimpse of the lifestyle over 100 years ago. Then you can indulge in a delicious Devonshire Tea served on the cottage verandah by our wonderful volunteers.
Don’t miss out on the indoor stalls. There are almost 40 indoor stalls in the adjacent Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre.
