About the event

Learn how to speak and write with style and flair, improve your communication and presentation skills, and gain strategies to ‘think on your feet’ at this 6-week course. Facilitated by Cleveland Forum, the course includes topics such as dealing with nerves, taming the ‘butterflies’, and speech preparation and compilation. The cost is $60, which includes course notes.

Members learn and practise many skills, including public speaking, how to prepare and deliver special occasion speeches, how meetings run, the roles and duties of office bearers, and workshop facilitation.
