On the second Friday of each month, Manly’s usual buzzing nightscape gets a few more amps of power, thanks to Twilight on Cambridge. Food trucks bump in on Cambridge Parade and in the IGA carpark, presenting a dilemma for hungry visitors: there are so many delicious options to choose from in addition to Manly’s boutique brick-and-mortar bars and restaurants. Perhaps a course at each one? Live jazz tunes add to the atmosphere; couples hit the pavement for impromptu dances and kids twirl to the beats. Join the fun, or watch from the sidelines and soak up the vibes.
Since its launch in November, Twilight on Cambridge has been embraced by locals and visitors, driven by the Manly Chamber of Commerce. And while the Sunday markets have their own following and unique seaside flavour, this night-time initiative brings an entirely new energy to Manly, letting us see the village from a new perspective.
