About this volunteering position
The Little Ship Club is looking for friendly volunteers to help support our upcoming Events.
Set on the stunning waterfront at Dunwich on North Stradbroke Island, the Little Ship Club is known as a true “piece of paradise”, a relaxed and welcoming destination where community, live music, great food, and beautiful bay views come together.
We’d love some extra hands to help make event days a success.
Volunteer Roles
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with a range of simple and practical event activities, including:
- Helping set up marquees
- Assisting on the can bar
- Cooking steaks and sausages on the BBQ
- Helping run raffles
- Clearing glasses, plates, and rubbish
- Restocking drinks in the cold rooms
- Assisting at food stalls
No special experience is needed — just a positive attitude, community spirit, and willingness to help.
As a volunteer, you’ll:
- Meet new people and support a great local community event
- Spend the day at one of North Stradbroke Island’s most beautiful waterfront venues
- Be part of the friendly Little Ship Club team
- Whether you’re a club member, local resident, or simply someone who loves great live music, volunteering is a fantastic way to experience the event while giving back to the community.
