About the organisation

Brisbane Seniors Online Association Inc.

Brisbane Seniors Online (BSOL) has been operating in the Greater Brisbane Area including Bayside and adjoining for over 20 years. BSOL has been assisting seniors and over 50s with computers, tablets, Apple devices and smart phones during this time. All staff and mentors are unpaid. Lessons are provided in the learners own home on their own device. An affordable fee of $20 joining (one off) and $45 a year gives a learner as a guide around 12 hours of home lessons using a volunteer mentor and then ongoing support for the balance of the membership year. Within BSOL, there are digital photography, mentor support, Apple and Linux groups that meet in person, by Zoom or both. Volunteer mentors are welcome to join from all areas so that this community service may continue. Learners are also welcome to join.
