About Bayside Budokai

Bayside Budokai is a community group that has been providing martial arts training in Wynnum on a not for profit basis since 2007.  Instruction is available in three arts: aikido for seniors and juniors, iaido (Japanese sword) and jodo, an art using a wooden staff.

Classes are conducted in a supportive and non competitive environment encouraging members to develop physical skills and self discipline intrinsic to the respective martial art traditions.

Chief Instructor David Kolb is a Wynnum local with grades issued by the international governing organisations for aikido, iaido, and jodo.  He is an NCAS Level 2 coach and holds Working with Children accreditation.
