We are delighted to announce that the Annette Roselli Dance Academy has again emerged as the reigning champions, securing the prestigious Championship Aggregate trophy for the sixth consecutive year at the recent Wynnum Manly Eisteddfod.
This highly anticipated event, held at Hilliard State School, brought together remarkable talent from across the greater Brisbane area. With an impressive lineup of over 45 competition categories, the Annette Roselli Dance Academy showcased its exceptional skills and artistic prowess, garnering multiple awards and ultimately capturing the coveted top Eisteddfod prize.
The Championship Aggregate award is bestowed upon the studio that collectively achieves the highest number of victories across all age groups and genres. With a remarkable display of talent and dedication, the Annette Roselli Dance Academy claimed victory in nine categories, triumphing in the Classical, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Tap sections.
Notably, the Under 15 Classical team astounded the judges with their captivating ballet piece ‘Raymonda,’ amassing an impressive score of 97 marks and securing the first-place position in their category. Annette Roselli, esteemed owner and director of the studio, couldn’t be prouder of the student’s outstanding achievements.
The Wynnum Manly Eisteddfod, deeply ingrained in our local community for over half a century, owes its success to the unwavering dedication of a devoted team of volunteers. Since its inaugural participation in 2017, the Annette Roselli Dance Academy has consistently showcased remarkable talent.
