About the event
Unfortunately, the consistent wet weather leading up to the planned date for the annual Family Fun Day in June meant that the event had to be postponed. It will now be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with all the same fun activities.
The Rotary Club of Wynnum and Manly, generously supported by Ampol, is once again busy preparing for the event to be held at George Clayton Park on the Esplanade in Wynnum.
This year, as usual, everything at the park will be free (except for the coffee van and soft drinks stall). There will be a free sausage sizzle, fresh fruit and free things to entertain the kids, including traditional games and races like sack races, egg and spoon races, and three- legged races; a jumping castle; a petting zoo; face painting; and the parachute to flap up and down with balls on it. A new one is croquet – come along and have a go.
