at the Belmont International Shooting Complex.
at 1485 Old Cleveland Road, Belmont.
Over the weekend Saturday 7th from 8am to 4pm and Sunday 8th of May from 8-30am to 2pm.
Visitors can expect to enjoy an extensive display of orchids nurtured by Orchid Society members who hail from the greater Brisbane area.
“This show is an opportunity to see and learn; there will be members available to answer any questions you may have in relation to the care and growing needs of your orchids. With over 25,000 species worldwide as well as thousands of hybrids, is there any wonder this hobby has grown over the past years.
Orchids have become much more popular in recent years with the general public, not just the hobbyist.” explained Brisbane Orchid Society Vice President Milton Ludlow.
As well as members having plants for sale, there will also be eight orchid vendors in attendance where you may be able to purchase an orchid, buy some pots, fertilizer, bark or other orchid related products.
The show will be run under Covid-19 regulations depending on the requirements from the Qld Government at the time of the orchid show and sales.
The Lions Club from Holland Park will be catering this event.
The show is open to the public for a small entry fee of $4.
