About the event
Families looking for a fun way to spend the school holidays can swap screens for sand, sunshine and sensory play by signing up for a Community Beach Art Class held along the Raby Bay Foreshore.
Run by local artist and mum-of-two Renee Johnston, the program combines painting, craft, beach play and exploration, giving children the chance to get creative while enjoying the outdoors.
Having painted professionally for 13 years, Renee said seeing children discover their own creativity was one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
Sessions run every Monday and Wednesday from 9:00am to 10:00am, including outside the school holidays, at Raby Bay Foreshore Park Beach, weather permitting.
The cost is $15 per person and includes all art materials, with babies under 12 months free to attend. Parental supervision is required.
