About the event

This year we are so excited that the Big Freeze 8 ice bucket challenge will be held at our grounds on 11th June this fundraiser is for MND, one of our former Wynnum players was diagnosed with MND at an early age and passed away a few years ago so we as a club would like to make this event a big one.

About the host
The Wynnum Manly Junior Rugby League Club was originally part of the senior body and in 1972 became a separate organisation and obtained a lease from the Brisbane City Council at Kitchener Park. For a number of years the Club operated from a very basic timber construction, which is still standing. Kitchener Park is fully fenced and has two international rules size fields and one mini field. All fields have lighting. We have a fully licensed bar and canteen and a function room.
