About the event
Fresh air and free fun are on offer when residents swap four wheels for two during a guided bike ride along the Bulimba Creek Bikeway on June 20.
The Bulimba Creek Bikeway Explorer event will take riders on a mostly flat journey through parts of Brisbane’s eastern suburbs, including Murarrie, Cannon Hill, Carina and Carindale, following the creek as it winds through parklands, wetlands and open green space.
Designed for a wide range of ages and abilities, the ride takes place on dedicated bike paths, with opportunities to stop and enjoy the surroundings often missed from the road. This free event is part of Brisbane City Council’s Cycling Brisbane program, which encourages people to get active and build confidence on a bike through guided rides and workshops.
The ride will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am and is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over, with participants under 18 required to be supervised by a guardian.
Bookings are essential. Visit Eventbrite or phone Spoke Sixteen on 0468 671 135 for more information.
