About the event
For the last six years the Russell Island Community Arts Centre has held an annual art
exhibition for its members, open to artists in all media. This year’s event, Metamorphosis,
promises to be particularly interesting.
Jane Hooper, Event Coordinator and Gallery Curator and an artist who works in mixed media, says that the theme was selected from suggestions proposed by the members.
Art lovers in the region are eagerly anticipating the exhibition, which runs from September 5 to 27, with the awards presentation at 4:00pm on Saturday September 5.
