About the event
Something wickedly wonderful is brewing on Brisbane’s bayside, with the Wynnum Ampol Halloween Festival and Parade returning on Saturday, 31 October 2026, and this year, the celebrations have a new home at George Clayton Park on the Wynnum-Manly foreshore.
Running from 12 noon until 8:30pm, the free community festival promises a full day of frightful fun for little monsters, grown-up ghouls and everyone in between. Families can expect live entertainment, thrilling rides, market stalls, food trucks and plenty of opportunities to show off their most creative costumes. As daylight fades, the much-loved Halloween Parade will set off at 6:00pm, before the night finishes with a spectacular fireworks display.
The 2026 festival is proudly presented by Ampol, the event’s naming sponsor, with support from Brisbane City Council and Port of Brisbane. Bendigo Bank and Ocean Realty are also proud sponsors of the festival, helping bring this community celebration to life. The festival also gratefully acknowledges the support of Joan Pease MP, Kara Cook MP and Cr Alex Givney.
