📋 About the Role
You’ll be responsible for managing new vehicle stock for a small number of our brands, ensuring accurate records across our dealer management system, and handling the end-to-end registration process — from paperwork and transfers to plates, compliance plates, and liaising with Queensland Transport. You’ll work closely with sales, finance, and delivery teams to make sure every vehicle is registered, roadworthy, and ready for handover on time. This role suits someone detail-oriented and organised, with solid administrative skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Managing new vehicle stock for a small number of Bartons’ brands
Ensuring accurate records are maintained across our dealer management system
Handling end-to-end vehicle registration — paperwork, transfers, plates, compliance plates, and liaising with Queensland Transport
Working closely with sales, finance, and delivery teams to ensure every vehicle is registered, roadworthy, and ready for handover on time
Assisting with stock order management and sourcing vehicles for deals written, liaising with other dealers and OEMs as required
👤 What You’ll Bring
Previous accounts or administration experience in a dealership environment — essential
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with confidence liaising across internal teams and external bodies such as Queensland Transport and OEMs
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence working autonomously and managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High standards of professionalism, honesty and integrity
Experience with Pentana or ERA systems — highly desirable
Registration/QT accreditation — highly desirable
