The Manly Harbour Village Chamber of Commerce (MHVCOC) continues to support the local business community, fostering collaboration and growth within our vibrant precinct. As a not-for-profit incorporated entity, the Chamber is led by a dedicated committee of local business and property owners who share a vision of making the Manly area a premier leisure destination in Queensland.
On Tuesday, September 17, the Chamber held its latest Trader Networking evening at Move Podiatry. Vanessa and her team gave us a warm welcome to their new space, with just over 20 members and guests attending this intimate gathering. The atmosphere was lively as guests mingled in the practice’s reception area, enjoying a selection of delicious, locally sourced food and drinks.
This year’s Manly Harbour Christmas Lights Competition is shaping up to be a memorable one! For the first time, all residents within the 4179 postcode are invited to participate, making it a true community-wide celebration. The official launch will take place on Saturday, November 30, in Little Bayside Park. Come join us for Christmas carols, a festive movie screening, and, of course, a special visit from the ‘Big Man in Red’ himself! There will even be a Santa photo booth where families can capture the magic of the evening. Harbour cruises will be running throughout December, offering the perfect way to see Manly Harbour Village in all its twinkling holiday glory. What better way to take in the lights than a peaceful night cruise?
Don’t forget, on the first and third Saturday of the month are the Jan Power Markets, the first Saturday of the month also sees the free Movies in the Park, starting at sunset. The Manly Creative Markets are held every Sunday. All the three events are held in Little Bay Park, Manly.
