As Easter approaches, there’s no need to travel far to enjoy a well-deserved break. Whether you’re a local looking for a relaxing escape or a visitor keen to explore, spend a relaxing day by the Bay in Manly.

Manly offers more than just markets. Take a leisurely stroll along the esplanade, enjoy a family picnic in one of the many green spaces, or visit the Moreton Bay Discovery Centre. There’s so much to explore along the waterfront!

This Easter, the beloved Manly Creative Markets are extending their trading days by running an extra market day on Good Friday, in addition to their usual Sunday. The ever-popular Jan Powers Farmers Markets will take place on Easter Saturday, giving you plenty of time to stock up on some carrots for the Easter Bunny!

In the week leading up to Easter, The Mad Hatters Bookshop has a range of activities to keep the kids entertained, from storytelling to arts and crafts. Visit www.madhattersbookshop.com.au for more details and tickets. ‘Hop’ in on Easter Saturday for a free Easter egg hunt and craft activities from 10am to 1pm.

Families won’t want to miss the Easter fun at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, which is hosting a Kids Easter Party on Easter Sunday. Children can take part in an exciting Easter egg hunt, face painting, a jumping castle, and a special Easter colouring competition. For more details and tickets, visit the Kids Easter Party event page at www.rqys.com.au.

Food lovers will be spoiled for choice with Manly’s waterfront cafes and restaurants, offering fresh seafood, gourmet delights, and, of course, Easter treats! And if you’re looking for some evening entertainment, keep an eye out for live music at The Manly Hotel and Manly Deck Bar and Restaurant.
