The Manly Harbour Village Chamber of Commerce (MHVCOC) is a not-for-profit incorporated entity operated by a committee of local business and property owners interested in developing the precinct and providing opportunities for businesses to collaborate and grow. The Chamber promotes the precinct as a premier Queensland leisure destination.
On 16 July, we hosted our Trader Networking night with a Christmas in July theme to launch our Christmas Harbour Lights Competition. Our hosts for the evening were Jessica and Amy from the newly refurbished Manly Hotel. We were treated to a sample of their function menu’s canape selection and were not disappointed! We experienced great hospitality and friendly service.
Our Master of Ceremonies, Steve Rickertt (Chamber Vice President,) welcomed members and friends of the Chamber and thanked everyone for attending.
Amy Dennis and Jess Fitzgerald gave us an overview of The Manly Hotel, where every space is tailored to elevate the guest’s experience. Whatever your preference, there are an array of function spaces designed to cater to your every need, from the restaurant to the outer terrace, upper courtyard, and lower courtyard. The Chamber will be hosting its next business breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. See the date claimer below for more details.
Ian Thomason and Tammy Vitale provided an overview of the 2024 Harbour Lights Competition. Our launch party in the park is scheduled for 30 November but will start around 4pm, so poor Santa doesn’t sweat too much in the big red suit! As a taster of what is to come, we were delighted to have musician Nick Karaloukas join us at the networking evening and entertain us with a few tunes.
