The Rotary club of Wynnum Manly is now in its 68th year of working for the community. Sailability Bayside of Manly have been providing sailing experiences for all people with disability since 2003, and it was in that year that Rotary supplied a new Hansa sailing dinghy to enable Sailability’s sailing program to continue into the future.

Fast forward many years later, and that same dinghy is still active, though recently underwent a refurbishment to ensure it can service the sailing program for some years to come.

Now, the Rotary Club of Wynnum Manly has again stepped up for Sailability to equip the recently refurbished dinghy with new sails, and return it to almost new condition to ensure many more smiles on the faces of sailors yet to come.

The new sails were presented by Tony Fox (President of Rotary) to Geoff Grace (President of Sailability Bayside) at a ceremony recently where both clubs committed to continuing to work together for the benefit of the local community.
