COUNCILLOR FOR WYNNUM MANLY
2023 has been a very special year for me. I was sworn in as the Wynnum Manly Councillor in May and it has been an absolute pleasure to serve you all this year.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – no one does community like Wynnum Manly. Below is a list of some of the community Christmas events on offer.

Mangrove Housing Christmas Drive
Feed the world, let them know it’s Christmas time
Mangrove Housing is on a mission to spread joy this festive season by providing their tenants with food and presents. My office will be a collection point for donations of tinned goods, hygiene items, and brand-new toys and books.
Manly Harbour Christmas Lights
Guide us to thy perfect light
Manly’s boat owners, residents, and businesses will light up their homes, yachts, and storefronts for the second annual Manly Harbour Christmas lights. Mark your calendars for the official launch on Saturday, 2 December, where Christmas carols, a festive movie screening, and a visit from Santa are on the agenda.
The event will continue throughout December, with weekend night cruises providing the best vantage point of the light display.
Bayside Carols
Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation, sing, all ye citizens of heaven above!
The Bayside’s longest running Christmas carol event returns to George Clayton Park on the evening of Saturday, 16 December. Usher in the festive spirit with live musical performances, food vans, child-friendly activities, and the main carol concert starting at 7pm. BYO chair or picnic rug and Bayside Carols will provide the carol books.
The Bayside Carols is a free event offered to the Bayside community and surrounds.
