Whether you’re a fan of the trumpet or just looking to expand your musical horizons, you won’t want to miss Redland Sinfonia’s June performance of Trumpetissimo, starring soloist Timothy Reed.
Sinfonia’s long-term Artistic Director and Conductor, the legendary Dr Graeme Denniss, describes Timothy as “a talent to watch” with “something special”. If that’s not enough to pique your interest, Sinfonia’s ensemble features retired and emerging musicians passionate about performing to the highest standards in the acoustically perfect (and incredibly comfortable!) Redland Performing Arts Centre.
A Saturday afternoon spent with the Redland Sinfonia is a sensational live music experience in downtown Cleveland. Come along and support our local musicians, then kick on afterwards at a café or pub or take a stroll around the harbour and enjoy the winter sunshine.
Thank you to the orchestra members who volunteer their time and talents to create a truly special experience for audiences. We’re lucky to have performances of this calibre on our doorstep. Find out more about Graeme, Timothy and the Sinfonia on page 15.
