FROM THE DANCE AND THEATRE FACTORY
This November, audiences are invited to experience not one, but two dazzling dance and theatre productions showcasing vibrant local talent.
The Dance and Theatre Factory is thrilled to present its performances on 22 and 23 November 2025, at the Star Theatre in Manly. The double bill features a stunning story ballet and a colourful musical, performed by a cast of gifted pre-professional artists and students.
First on stage is the timeless ballet La Fille Mal Gardée (The Wayward Girl), a charming and comedic tale filled with heart, humour, and breathtaking choreography. Following it is the effervescent SpongeBob The Musical: Youth Edition, bursting with energy, music, and messages of friendship and optimism that will delight audiences of all ages.
The productions feature some of the bayside’s brightest local performers, including Reuben Newlands, Kaitlin Everitt, Poppy Nobes, and Benjamin Rimes, whose talent and passion light up the stage. With performances scheduled at 2:00pm and 7:00pm on Saturday, and 10:00am and 2:00pm on Sunday, there’s a perfect time for everyone to catch the magic.
And for those who dream of being on stage themselves, TDTF is also offering the Matilda Jr Summer Holiday Workshop and Production in January. Over six or 10 action-packed days, from 9 to 18 January 2026, children aged eight to 18 years can immerse themselves in the world of musical theatre, learning, performing, and having the time of their lives. Whether joining the ensemble or auditioning for a lead, it’s the ultimate way to stay active, creative, and inspired these holidays.
Whether you’re a lifelong theatre lover or simply curious about the joy of live performance, The Dance and Theatre Factory invites you to celebrate, support, and take part in the arts this season.
