Redlands Camera Club has proudly earned national recognition, achieving a top ten ranking in the 2025 Australian Cup Interclub Competition. The club secured sixth place out of 42 camera clubs nationwide – an outstanding result that highlights the skill and creativity of its members.

Organised annually by the Australian Photographic Society, the competition brings together clubs from across the country in a showcase of photographic excellence. This year’s theme “This is Australia”, invited entrants to capture the essence of the nation through images taken anywhere across Australia’s states and territories.

Redlands Camera Club’s strong performance placed it as the highest-ranking club from Queensland, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of its members.

Club president Pia Jessen said the recognition is a testament to the club’s commitment to fostering photographic talent in the community.

“To be recognised at a national level is a huge honour for our club. It reflects not only the outstanding work of our members but also the supportive and collaborative spirit that drives Redlands Camera Club,” Pia Jessen said.

With this achievement, Redlands Camera Club continues to inspire photographers of all levels. Congratulations to all members on this outstanding accomplishment!
