FROM PAM HART

Tails of the World is an international collaboration of 90 photographers, each committed to supporting local animal welfare organisations through a unique fundraising initiative. Each photographer has a designated area and selects a local animal charity to receive the photo session fees. Proceeds from the upcoming Tails of the World coffee table book will benefit the Geelong Animal Welfare Society (GAWS).

In Brisbane, photographer Pam Hart of Pets with Pam Hart Photography is partnering with Precious Paws Animal Rescue (PPAR), a Brisbane-based volunteer organisation dedicated to rescuing dogs at risk of euthanasia.

PPAR has faced significant expenses this year, including over $100,000 in veterinary costs and more than $30,000 for trainers, food, and medicines. The organisation relies heavily on donations to continue its lifesaving work.

Pam is looking for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and quirky personalities from Redlands and Bayside to participate in this project. Ten photo sessions are available, each requiring a $199 tax-deductible donation to PPAR.

Participants will receive a pet photo session, five 5×7 prints, a $100 in-store credit with Pets with Pam Hart Photography, and their dog’s inclusion in the Tails of the World book.

Applications are open until July 30, and photo sessions will be held in August and September. The book will be released on December 1, 2024.
