Redlands’ vibrant art scene is set to shine this August with the launch of the Major Art Exhibition 2025, hosted by the Redland Yurara Art Society. From Saturday, August 9 to Sunday, September 21, the Yurara Art Gallery at Pinklands Reserve will transform into a hub of inspiration, showcasing an impressive collection of works by local artists.
The exhibition’s official opening takes place on Sunday, August 10 at 2:00pm, with special guest Mayor Jos Mitchell presiding over the festivities. Mayor Mitchell will present prizes and certificates of commendation to this year’s standout artists, celebrating the dedication and talent flourishing in the region.
Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary wine, soft drinks, and snacks as they take in the diverse range of artwork on display – all available for purchase. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a curious newcomer to the art world, this is a sensational opportunity to experience the creative energy of the Redland community up close.
Held at the Redland Yurara Art Gallery (262 Cleveland-Redland Bay Rd, Thornlands), this annual event has become a cultural highlight for the region, bringing together artists, supporters, and visitors in a welcoming setting.
