Bayside Spring Festival blooms again on September 12 and 13 - The Community Leader and Real Estate New and Views

After more than a decade away, the much-loved Bayside Spring Festival is making a comeback.

The free festival is set to be a highlight of the community calendar, bringing laughter, live music, and family fun back to George Clayton Park on Friday, 12 September, and Saturday, 13 September.

Brisbane City Council and Wynnum Commerce Inc. are joining forces to bring the Bayside Spring Festival to life, in conjunction with the Brisbane Festival for the Friday night program, featuring:

  • Rachael Fahim – powerhouse country-pop artist with chart-topping hits
  • Midwest Molly – country favourites with a fresh twist
  • Briana Dinsdale – rising star with soulful vocals and heartfelt songwriting

Alongside the music, festival-goers can enjoy roaming performers, face painting, a giant jumping castle, food trucks, a bustling makers’ market, and a spectacular fireworks finale on Saturday night.

“The Bayside Spring Festival is part of our community’s story and celebrates what makes this part of Brisbane so special,” said Wynnum Manly Ward Councillor Alex Givney.

“Bringing it back after all these years means more opportunities for families, friends and neighbours to connect and make lasting memories on Brisbane’s bayside.

“The energy and commitment from our volunteers so far has been nothing short of inspiring, and I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their amazing work.”
