Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the activities and entertainment held at the volunteer-run Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre at 241 Tingal Road, Wynnum.
13th September
Special 44th Birthday Concert, with entertainment by Terry Stewart
The cost is $25 which includes the concert, morning tea, a two-course hot lunch and cutting of the birthday cake.
27th September
Concert with entertainer Lauchlan Wallace
The cost is $10 for the concert and morning tea, plus an additional $10 for a two-course lunch served after the concert.
Doors open at 9.30am and bookings are essential. Please phone 3396 9488 to make a booking. Raffles and lucky door prizes will be held on the day.
Repair Café
Sunday 11th September – 2pm to 4pm
Toss it – no way! Bring along that broken, damaged item to be fixed or repaired and at the same time minimise landfill. It’s free! Rest In Peace Wendy Duncan. Sadly one of our lifetime members Wendy Duncan passed away recently. We would like to acknowledge the wonderful contribution Wendy made to our community centre. Wendy volunteered from day one in many roles – some forty years of volunteering. We will miss her.
