Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the activities and entertainment held at the volunteer-run Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre at 241 Tingal Road, Wynnum.
CONCERT
8th November – entertainment by Redlands Country Music
The cost is $10 for the concert and morning tea, plus an additional $10 for a two-course lunch served after the concert.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT
22nd November – entertainment by Ian Maurice and June Lawson
This is our final concert for the year so come along and join in the festive cheer. The cost is $25 for the concert and morning tea, and a two-course Christmas lunch will be served after the concert.
Doors open at 9.30am and bookings are essential. Please phone 3396 9488 to make a booking. Raffles and lucky door prizes will be held on the day.
We would like to thank all the wonderful people who come along to our concerts for their support during the year.
ART SALE AT WYNNUM PLAZA
Thursday 24th November to Saturday 26th November, 8:30am to 4pm
A sale of artworks by our local talented artists will be held at Wynnum Plaza. Artists in the group show are members of the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre. There will be a large number of artworks for sale at site 14, opposite the post office. Come along and purchase a unique one-off gift for someone special for Christmas.
REPAIR CAFÉ
Saturday 12th November – 2pm to 4pm
Toss it – no way! Bring along that broken, damaged item to be fixed or repaired while minimising landfill. It’s free! Enjoy a Devonshire Tea served by the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre canteen (cost $5) while having repairs done.
