Step right up, Brisbane – Christmas is getting the Fringe treatment!
From the creators and performers of Wynnum Fringe, Fool’s Paradise and Swamplesque comes Wynnum Wonderland – three huge weekends of festive fun, food, and phenomenal entertainment for all ages in the heart of Wynnum!
By day, families can dive into the Augathella Spiegeltent with three huge shows for families.
The Greatest Snowman is a whimsical Christmas cabaret featuring some of Australia’s greatest entertainers coming together to sing, dance, and swing from the ceiling. There’s also the Christmas Chaos Edition of Kaboom, where madcap scientists Magnus and the Showmen Productions blow the roof off the Spiegeltent with science, laughter, and a little Christmas magic, plus award-winning family entertainment from Bubble Show In Space, which brings a million bubbles into the Spiegeltent these school holidays.
By night, things get a little bit naughty with Cirque Du Sleigh – a jaw-dropping, adults-only variety spectacular starring Trigger Happy, Tash York, Head First Acrobats, and some saucy guests. It’s where circus meets comedy, burlesque meets baubles, and the elves definitely have abs. Comedy legend Dave Hughes returns to Wynnum with his new award-winning show, WTF, local band The Guides will perform a special Christmas gig, and to top it all off, there is a very special Carols In The Spiegeltent with some of Australia’s finest singers.
Across the festival, you’ll also find pop-up bars, markets, food trucks, and a very special Wynnum Wonderland singalong with Tom Oliver.
