FEDERAL MEMBER FOR BONNER
Medicare Urgent Care Clinic NOW OPEN!
The Carina–Carindale Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is now open at 805 Old Cleveland Road, providing free urgent care for non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses. The clinic is walk-in, with no appointment or GP referral needed. This is another way the Albanese Labor Government is delivering for residents across Bonner. High-quality healthcare close to home where all you need is your Medicare card, not your credit card.
Delivering for Health
Cheaper medicines are also here, from 1 January 2026 the maximum cost of PBS medicines will be capped at $25. There are also 11 fully bulk billed clinics across Bonner, helping more people see a GP without out-of-pocket costs. Women’s healthcare has also been strengthened, with cheaper oral contraceptives, IUDs and menopausal hormone therapies now available under the PBS. Together with our new urgent care clinic these changes are easing pressure on households and supporting a health system that is accessible, affordable and focused on patient care.
