How lucky was I to be greeted by superheroes and princesses when I recently delivered the Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags to Wynnum – Manly Kindy?!
As your local Federal Member for Bonner, I am able to present flags to veterans, community groups, schools and for other special occasions.

Bonner Youth Mental Health Forum
Mental health challenges have a devastating impact on the people we love and care for, our local community and our country. It’s safe to say, we all know someone who has been impacted by poor mental health. It’s also sad to see that, according to Beyond Blue, 75% of mental health problems occur before the age of 25. That is why I am partnering with youth mental health organisation You Are Not Alone to run the Bonner Youth Mental Health Forum.
This forum will be an opportunity for the youth of Bonner to have their say on what is impacting them and what can and should be done better.
Who can attend: Bonner Youth between the ages of 16 – 25. Anyone under the age of 18 who wishes to attend will need to have
parental consent.
Date: Saturday 2nd of September 2023
Time: 1pm- 3pm

Great music and great food, Music in Minnippi is the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon relaxing!

With a stunning display of kites, a fantastic variety of food and drink, a BCC pop-up library and more, this is a must attend event for all the family.

Cosplay meets Steampunk
Time to put on your best Steampunk or Cosplay outfit for the Wynnum-Manly Steampunk meets Cosplay event! There will be market stalls, food, drinks, performances, and games for all to enjoy.
Time: 10am – 6pm
Date: Saturday 26th of August
Location: Florence Street, Wynnum
There will also be a Kaleidoscope Art Exhibition running from the 25th of August to the 2nd of September.
