Seniors’ Expo
The Seniors’ Expo is back for 2023! This year, the Bonner Seniors’ Expo is heading to Mt Gravatt and I am inviting all seniors on the Bayside to join me! I am working to make this event bigger and better than ever. There will be sample bags, lucky door prizes, guest speakers from key industry areas, including government support services and much more. This is a free event for seniors.

Funding Delivered for WynMET
Thank you Jason and the Team at Wynnum Manly Employment & Training (WynMET) for the incredible work you do supporting local community members to find employment. WynMET was first established in 1987. Since then, they have gone on to help countless youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, long term unemployed, refugees and people with disabilities train, upskill and find employment. Recently, I caught up with the Team to see how federal funding through the former Coalition Government’s Volunteer Grant Program has benefited WynMET. Funding delivered will be used to purchase much needed equipment for volunteers who are currently using their own devices. It will also allow volunteers to upskill in the area of First Aid.
