STATE MEMBER FOR LYTTON
OLLIE’S STORY: FROM IONA TO MT EVEREST
Wynnum local and Iona Brisbane graduate, Oliver Foran, is turning personal tragedy into an extraordinary act of purpose. After losing his mother to brain cancer in his teens, Ollie later faced significant mental health challenges before rebuilding his life. He received incredible support from the Iona College community. Now Ollie is determined to give back! In April, he will attempt a world-record, fully human-powered journey from sea level in India to the summit of Mount Everest as part of Climbing for Young Minds, raising funds for youth mental health through Youturn. You can support his mission and donate at https://youturn.org.au/how-you-can-help/climbing-for-young-minds.
