What is your name? Hi, my name is Shiloh.
Where do you live? I reside at lovely Victoria Point.
How long have you lived there? My whole life, for 14 years and six months.
What is your favourite local activity? I used to love playing with my ball, but now I really enjoy sleeping because I’m an old man.
What is your favourite toy? I still love my Teddy, and showing Teddy to visitors.
Do you have a favourite food? Yes! Or specifically, goat and venison meat, and homemade treats! I’m really not spoiled.
What is your worst habit? I get really annoyed and growl when my cousins visit, so they walk around behind my humans. I don’t consider it a bad habit, but everyone else seems to think so.
What’s your favourite hangout? I love being with my humans on the lounge.
What is your favourite local walk? I love Thompson’s Beach. Most days I cannot walk a long way, so my humans drive me there. It has some really good quality sniffing.
Do you have a bestie? My best friend was my sister Willow, but she now lovingly looks at me from a photo on the wall. Daddy is my new bestie, and not just because he gives me treats. Daddy has a comfy lap, under the air-con.
Do you have any funny stories to share? I’m very astute to my humans’ proximity to the fridge, as that is where the treats are kept. I always lick my lips to remind them that I would really, really love a treat.
What do people love the most about you? Visitors always love my kisses, although I am very selective about who gets them. Although I’m not a big fan of visiting the vet, the doggy doctors and nurses really seem to love me. Mummy bakes lots of delicious treats for them – real human treats, not the doggy type! I really like them too, but apparently human treats
are not good for me. I learned that
lesson the hard way.
