What’s your name? My name is Oscar the Cat.
Where do you live? I’m from Capalaba.
What’s your favourite local walk? I like to walk on anything high, because it gives my family a good fright. I am very agile.
What’s your most treasured toy? I have a soft mouse toy that I got ages ago. It’s a bit mangled now. I like to throw it around, and sometimes I give it to my mum as a gift. She is usually not very impressed.
What’s your favourite food? I like tin food over the dry stuff that comes in a bag. I get excited when a tin is being opened, and I do a happy dance.
What’s your worst habit? Bringing people my yucky old mouse toy.
Where’s your favourite hangout spot? Wherever the sun is shining, even in summer.
Who’s your best friend? I like the cat next door. We have an understanding, and we look at each other from a distance through the screens. I guess he is my friend.
Do you have any embarrassing stories to share with us? I was snooping in a cupboard and accidentally got locked in. It was a few hours before someone opened the door and found me. I won’t do that again!
What do people love most about you? I meet and greet all visitors at the front door. People like that.
