What’s your name? Hello, my name is Snoopy.
Suburb: I’m from Wynnum West.
How long have you lived in Wynnum West? For eight years, though, I have been visiting my extended family here since 2008.
What is your favourite local walk? As an elderly doggo (18 years), I enjoy having my owners take me for walks in a wagon, and then getting out for a sniff at the electricity pole at the end of my street. It has the best smells. The Wynnum waterfront is also a top place I like for a wagon walk.
What is your most treasured toy? Ellie the elephant. I got her for Christmas a few years ago, and promptly gave her a makeover by removing all her stuffing and her squeaker.
What is your favourite food? CHICKEN! Hands down the best food in the world.
What is your worst habit? If my family play a board game on the floor, I will find a way into the middle and sit on top of the game they are playing.
What’s your favourite local hangout? My Nanna’s house. I get the royal treatment there.
Who is your best doggo friend? Bella, who lives at Nanna’s house, even though she doesn’t like to share. Also, my brother Chimmy, who is technically a guinea pig. He likes a wagon walk with me.
Any funny or embarrassing stories you’d like to share? When my family puts a mat on the floor for exercise I immediately sit on it and claim it as my own, and they have to get another mat. Also, if someone scratches behind my ears, I demand to sniff their hand immediately after.
What do people love most about you? My cute face, being named after a celebrity, and my big personality for a little dog.
Snoopy’s favourite charity is RSPCA QLD, and we have made a $50 donation on his behalf. Snoopy says he was rescued as a puppy and his family is so thankful to the organisations that cared for him until he was united with his forever family.
