The Wynnum Vikings Australian Football Club was established in 1966. The blue-collar club has endured many trials and tribulations since its formative years to become a strong family club based on Brisbane’s bayside, with player registration numbers growing year-on-year across all age groups from Auskick to Masters.
This year is a very exciting one for Wynnum Vikings, with our senior team being granted the opportunity to compete in QFA Division 1.
At the Wynnum Vikings AFL Club, we know that girls love to play footy too! We currently have two junior girls’ teams, an Under 9s and Under 11s team and we are looking to expand into the youth age groups (13 years –
17 years).
We have a group of Under 17s who have begun to train regularly and are looking for new recruits for their team. Come and join us in 2022 and be part of our exciting girls’ football program.
