It’s the business end of the season, and the finals race is heating up.
The Under 16 girls (pictured) have already taken out the Grand Final after remaining undefeated all season. They didn’t have it all their way in the Grand Final, though, having to fight back after being down at halftime to secure a famous win.
The Under 14 Division 2 boys kept everyone on the edge of their seats in a thrilling Grand Final, securing victory with an epic extra time try to become champions. It is now the Under 15 boys Division 1 and 2 teams shot at glory after booking their spots in the big dance. Also into a Grand Final are the Under 18 Division 1 team after taking care of the Redcliffe Dolphins in their semi-final.
In big news, the Wynnum Seagulls Juniors have been crowned BRL Club Champions after the combined success of the Under 20s, Reserve Grade and BRL A Grade teams. All three teams have a chance at adding premierships to the tally with upcoming qualifying finals.
