Founded in early 2020 by a small group of passionate locals, the club has grown from modest beginnings to become a thriving hub of activity and connection, now offering 22 weekly sessions running seven days a week across six venues. These include Ormiston State School, Wellington Point Tennis Courts, PCYC Redlands in Capalaba, Coolnwynpin State School, Alexandra Hills High School, and Capalaba State College.
From social to tournament players, at its core, the Redlands Pickleball Club has built a culture centred on friendship, inclusivity, and community spirit. The courts have become more than a place to play; they’re where new friendships are formed, confidence is built, and people of all ages and abilities are welcomed with open arms.
“Our anniversary is not just about how much we’ve grown in numbers,” says club president Ron Jackson. “It’s about celebrating the incredible community that has come together through this sport. Pickleball is the reason we gather, but the connections and culture we’ve built – that’s the real success story.”
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, Redlands Pickleball Club welcomes you to be part of the next chapter in this ongoing community success story.
