Wynnum Manly Seagulls players are excited the 2025 rugby league season is about to kick off!

The Seagulls finished the 2024 Hostplus Cup season after losing a close elimination semi-final to Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby.

“It was a challenging season for our club; we will learn from the experience and improve both on and off the field,” said Wynnum Manly Seagulls CEO Wayne Weekes, reflecting on the 2024 season.

The 2025 Queensland rugby league season will herald many positive changes, with the Seagulls now boasting more teams than ever before in the history of the club.

“We have developed our Women’s Rugby League Space, and reintroduced BRL A Grade to our club,”
said Mr Weekes.

“We now have three female teams and four male teams playing in the state level competition and plenty of rugby league for our supporters, partners, and local community to watch at Kougari Oval.”

You can join the action and cheer on the ’gulls from the sidelines this month at two trial matches. Check the website www.wynnumseagulls.com.au for match and event information.
