Wynnum Manly Touch Association is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our junior players who recently represented their regions at the National Youth Championships Touch Football event in Coffs Harbour. More than 20 local juniors from U12s to U18s competed across a range of divisions, showcasing exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork on the national stage.

Our players proudly represented both the Brisbane City Cobras and Southwest QLD Swans, highlighting the depth of talent being developed through the Wynnum Manly junior program. Notable mentions go to Zairah Jenkins, who played with the U14 Girls Brisbane City Cobras team that finished as Runners-Up, and Cruz Jenkins and Jack Fitzpatrick, who were part of the U16 Boys Brisbane City Cobras team, also finishing as runners-up.

Throughout the tournament, our players displayed outstanding commitment, composure, and sportsmanship, embodying the true spirit of touch football. Coaches and supporters alike were impressed by their teamwork, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn from every game. These young athletes represented Wynnum Manly with pride, and their effort, attitude, and support for one another were exceptional. They’ve set a great example for the next generation coming through our club.

The Association extends heartfelt thanks to all the parents, coaches, and volunteers who helped prepare, support, and travel with our players. Their continued involvement makes these achievements possible.

Wynnum Manly Touch Association congratulates all our juniors on their success and is excited to see their continued development. The future of touch football at Wynnum Manly is bright!
