Another great year of football has come to an end, with more than 800 young players enjoying the game across Wynnum Manly Junior Rugby League Club.
As the 2026 season draws to a close, Wynnum Manly Juniors can look back on another fantastic year filled with football, friendships, community spirit and plenty of memories.
With more than 800 kids taking to the field from ages five and up, the club continues to grow and provide a place where children and families can enjoy the great game of rugby league.
One of the highlights of the season was seeing a record six girls’ teams take the field. The continued growth of girls’ rugby league at Wynnum Manly Juniors is something the club can be incredibly proud of and is a great sign for the future of the sport.
Behind every successful season is a team of dedicated volunteers, and Wynnum Manly Juniors is extremely fortunate to have so many people who give their time to the club.
A massive thank you goes to all our coaches, managers, Leaguesafe volunteers and sports trainers. Your commitment throughout the season, from training nights to game days, has helped make the season possible for all our players.
The club would also like to thank all the parents, grandparents and families who supported the players throughout the season. Also, thank you for helping out at the club in various jobs, including the canteen and uniform shop. Thank you for getting the kids to training, travelling to games, cheering from the sidelines and, most importantly, supporting the club and our young players. Grassroots sports wouldn’t happen without you.
Wynnum Manly Juniors would also like to extend a huge thank you to all our sponsors and supporters for their generous support throughout the 2026 season. Their support helps us with equipment, uniforms, facilities, programs and the many costs involved in running a successful junior club.
We are extremely grateful to every business and organisation that has stood behind Wynnum Manly Juniors this season. Your support helps our club grow, helps our players thrive and helps ensure our kids can continue enjoying the great game of rugby league.
