Welcome to your Manly Combined Clubs series 2023, which set sail with race one in February.

Firstly, we’d like to thank those who supported and participated in the 2022 sailing year. Seeing so many up-and-coming superstars getting involved in our much-loved sport is amazing. The “join the fun and come along” spirit has truly weaved its magic for all to enjoy.

A testament to last year’s successful race outcomes was the fleet heading up to Hamilton Island Race Week and down to the Sydney to Hobart race. A record number of boats and crews participated in those races, training here with us to up-skill, working to build great crews and moving on to bigger races nationally.

Secondly, this year promises to become yet another super year of sailing on our much-loved Moreton Bay, full of fun and frivolity, with fabulous prizes to be won. More importantly, this year, we will support our nominated local charity, the Bayside Community Fund.

We are off with a bang this year leading up to our 2023 season supporting the Kingfisher Night Series, and we hosted the Australian Sports Boat Association’s National Titles 2023 in February.

Further to supporting all our close neighbours and local clubs, we will also be supporting the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron’s Women’s Keelboat Cup, which is fast approaching on the 11th and 12th of March. This represents an amazing opportunity to encourage women’s participation and growth in our great sport.

We welcome people with all levels of sailing skills, from novice to seasoned sailors, to participate in the 2023 Manly Combined Clubs series.
