Wynnum’s annual Steampunk festival is back this month, where fashion, culture and art converge to create a gathering of fantastical proportions!

This year’s theme is Cosplay meets Steampunk, which spans Victorian-era fashion with a futuristic industrial twist, to superheroes and villains.

It’s your chance to devour delicious food, dance to live music and shop the market for unique treasures. There’ll be puppet and magic shows, jazz bands and a harp player, and the marvellous Morris Dancers will dazzle the court with eclectic choreography using sticks and handkerchiefs. And most importantly, you’re invited to dress in Steampunk or Cosplay style!

So, mark your calendar for August 26 and don your most eccentric attire to become part of this captivating celebration. Join your community to rejoice in the festival’s magic.
